Japan’s Tokyo Ska Paradise Orchestra have posted the video for “Suikinkutsu.” The song comes from their 2010 EP, Goldfingers, and it features virtuoso jazz pianist Hiromi Uehara. The long-running ska band last released their fifteenth studio album World Ska Symphony in March.
6131 Records has signed Cherry Hill, New Jersey’s Settle for Less. The pop-punk band released Greetings last year on Either/Or Records and they are currently writing for their 6131 debut expected in early 2011.

Punknews.org’s Fest 9 coverage rolls on tonight with a video check-in from yours truly, news editor Bryne Yancey. I’ll be posting some impromptu videos throughout the weekend documenting the shenanigans I’m sure to experience here in sunny Gainesville, FL. This first video serves as an introduction of sorts, so ignore any of its inadequacies.

Mock Orange will be releasing their new album, Disguised as Ghosts in February of 2011. The 10-song album is due out on Wednesday Records and follows 2004’s Captain Love.
Young Governor, (a.k.a. Ben Cook of Fucked Up and the Marvelous Darlings) has posted a video for one of his two recently release 7-inches. The video is for the title track to Bedtime Stories which was released via Southpaw Records. It was followed by a 7-inch on Dirtnap Records titled Cindy’s Gonna Save Me.
