Hole has announced that their upcoming month-long reunion tour will begin June 22nd and feature support from Foxy Shazam. Hole released Nobody’s Daughter this year, their first new album in eight years. First formed in Los Angeles in 1989, the band was together until 2002. Since then, frontwoman Courtney Love has become better known as gatekeeper of Kurt Cobain’s estate. Prior to their upcoming new full length, Here, Under Protest, Swingin’ Utters will be releasing a new 7-inch titled Brand New Lungs. The release, due out June 22, 2010 on vinyl and digital, is their first new release since 2003’s Dead Flowers, Bottles, Bluegrass, and Bones.
The band will also be hitting the road for a run of dates beginning in June. Check those dates out here. Earlier this year, the band was the subject of a tribute album titled Untitled 21: A Juvenile Tribute to Swingin’ Utters.
