The Beginning Of The End Is Upon Us!

Unless you live under a rock, you have probably already read that World of Warcraft will be released November 23rd. We grabbed the whole Press Release with all the details for your reading pleasure. Just click Read More.

For the record, we would like to thank all of you for reading this website and listening to our Radio Station. I am looking for a homeless shelter that can provide these things. Location does not matter. I can move as long as they have these necessities. Please let me know ASAP! Only 18 days until WoW is released. I would prefer to be moved by then. 😉 Continue reading The Beginning Of The End Is Upon Us!

Stereolab Box of Rarities
************

Pitchfork reports: Our favorite alternatively rocking space-age bachelors (and bachelorettes, right) are preparing to catch thee up with their many EPs, singles and other stray tracks– Switched On-style.

Now, its been about nine years since the last Switched On comp, so theres quite a collection of ephemera to wade through– and it would appear their newest collection is designed with the completist in mind. According to a post on the bands website, next spring will see the release of a giant 3xCD compilation stretching back to the 18-minute majesty of “Jenny Ondioline”, which was first released in 1993. The set, tentatively slated for mid-April, is being mastered in a few weeks, at which point the final running order (and presumably, the title) will be fixed. [see full story for more]

S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: Shadow of Chernobyl Delayed

S.T.A.L.K.E.R has been delayed from 2005 Q1 to 2005 Q2 due to further optimization of the games dynamic life simulation system, which uses complex routines.

THQs online content manager Max Steller also said that the game has technically been finished and all features have been completed, but due to the complex nature of the dynamic life simulation routines, it will take GSC World additional time to make sure it works properly, as it is a crucial part of the game.
