Cruel Hand detail “Lock & Key”

Cruel Hand Bridge Nine Records hardcore act Cruel Hand have posted art and a track listing for their upcoming third album The record is titled Lock and Key and is due out July 27, 2010 via Bridge Nine. It is the follow-up to Prying Eyes which was released in 2008. It was recorded last month in Wakefield, MA with producer Jay Maas (Verse, Bane, Defeater) The band will head to Europe this summer to support the release.

How to Destroy Angels: “The Space in Between”

Trent Reznor of Nine Inch Nails has unveiled the first video from his new project, How to Destroy Angels. The band is a collaboration of the outspoken musician with West Indian Girl frontwoman Mariqueen Maandig. It also reunites Reznor with Atticus Ross, who also worked on albums with Bad Religion, Rancid, From First to Last and Zach de la Rocha and was part of the band Error with Brett Gurewitz. The group will be releasing their debut EP this summer. For previous releases, Reznor has opted to self-release his records and offer deluxe editions for payment. His previous record released this way – the Slip – generated an estimated $1.5M in revenue before being picked up for distribution by a major label.
