Paul Westerberg releases the missing time from 49:00

We missed this announcement by a few weeks but I’m sure Paul won’t mind.

Former Replacements frontman Paul Westerberg has released a new digital track titled “5:05.” It represents the missing 5 minutes and 5 seconds from his July release “49:00.” That download, a single track that cost 49 cents and ran 43:55, is no longer available for purchase. The new song is available for download from Tunecore for either 99 cents or $5.05, whichever the buyer decides to pay.

Paul’s last conventional release was 2004’s Folker on Vagrant Records. It was followed in 2006 with the soundtrack to the computer animated film Open Season.
