While his previous band may have put out one of NME’s favorite records of the decade, former Libertines and Babyshambles frontman Pete Doherty may still be crazy.

According to a AFP report, the vocalist was pulled off stage at a weekend music festival in Germany after he began signing Nazi anthem “Deutschland, Deutschland ueber alles” during his set, reports said on Monday. The lines come from the first verse of the “Song of Germany,” which was used as the national anthem by the Nazis.

Attendees at the on3 festival in Munich booed Doherty, but he carried on singing until removed from the stage.
