The members of Planes Mistaken For Stars have let us know that they will be splitting up very soon. The band is currently booking a farewell tour but have begun focusing on new projects.

Gared told us about the new endeavors:

Chuck and Neil are still blazing a trail with Git Some and i am about halfway through writing the first Hawks and Doves record.

The group’s final record was Mercy released last year.
