Publics Serpents: “Death of a Revolutionary”

Although they’re promising this is the last one for a while, we doubt it. Public Serpents have posted another new track for all of us in internet-land. “Death of a Revolutionary” is available and is promising “Crack Rock Steadiest beats, old school reggae sounds, and all out of the biggest ghetto blaster in Jersey.” You can hear it at their MySpace page.

The Serpents are the newest project from NYC squatscian Skwert who has spent time in bands such as Choking Victim, INDK and American Distress. A label for their release is still undetermined, but they’re self-releasing their demo via Tent City Records.

The album promises a merger of dancehall reggae, punk and ska akin to “Choking Victim, INDK, Operation Ivy, The Specials, American Distress, The Clash, Misfits, Bucaneer and Buju Banton.”
