Smoking Popes plan record release show for June

The Smoking Popes will perform a record releaes show for their long-awaited new full length Stay Down in Chicago. The 18+ show will take place at the Metro on June 7th. Support acts have not yet been announced.

Stay Down will be the band’s first full length in more than a decade, following up 1997’s Destination Failure. Chicago indie Flameshovel had been previously linked to the release, but as of now the label has no further information regarding it online.
