The Get Up Kids have detailed their first new release in six years. Simple Science will be a four song EP, slated for an April release on limited LP/CD; it’ll also be available through iTunes. A release date is expected to be announced soon. Once out, it’ll be the band’s first new material since 2004’s Guilt Show.

The seminal band played a gaggle of reunion shows last year, and will be touring Australia and Japan starting next week.
