Floridians Torche have posted a new track from their upcoming EP In Return. The track is called “Tarpit Carnivore” and according to their label “features a repeated assault of the patented ‘bomb string’ tuning and the gruffest vocals Steve Brooks has recorded in years.” You can find it at their MySpace page.

To celebrate, the band will be heading out on tour with Capsule and Jesu, on independent legs. You can see the Jesu dates here and the Capsule dates below.

Torche will spend the time between the tours with Capsule and Jesu recording their sophomore album at Godcity Studios with Kurt Ballou. A spring 2008 release is expected and Alex Pastepunk is moshing.
