High On Fire has entered the Avast II studios in Seattle, WA with legendary producer Jack Endino (Nirvana, Mudhoney) to record their follow-up to the critically-acclaimed Blessed Black Wings. This still-as-yet-untitled record will be mixed at Soundhouse Studios and is expected to see an early Fall ’07 release.
The band has also announced a number of tour dates following the recording session. The band of three will perform a number of shows throughout the Mid-West U.S. during the later part of July. Also included in this run of dates is an appearance at the city of Chicago’s annual Wicker Park Summer Fest.
