Tours: One Small Step for Landmines (solo)

One Small Step for Landmines (sans their rhythm section) has embarked on a U.S. tour in support of last year’s self-titled debut full-length, released on Doghouse imprint Civil Defense League.

To elaborate on the fact only one-third of the band will actually be present, it will be vocalist/guitarist Kevin Allen with “plenty of loops and jazzy beats — courtesy of a couple pedal boards — to complete the total Landmines experience.”

The band themselves are already planning a followup release, however, in the form of a five-song EP in the midst of being recorded with Sparta‘s Jim Ward at his studio in El Paso, T.X. this week. Songs will be previewed on the current tour by Allen.

A video also has been posted for “Good Men Die Young, and I’m Not Feeling Well” that you can check out here.
