Since almost everything has been “indie rock-ified” these days, it seems appropriate enough that German publisher Rock Buch has announced Indie Travel Guide which promises to take readers through the best parts of cities as documented by touring bands.

The publishers have unveiled some details about the artists involved which includes Trail of Dead, Hot Hot Heat, Art Brut, Maritime, Sonic Youth and many more. They each will provide their tips on what to see in a variety of cities worldwide. As bands do tend to spend a considerable amount of time traveling, the idea actually makes a fair bit of sense.



The book is expected in Europe this summer with a North American release in the fall.
