4v4 Quick Cup FINALS Tonight!
I just got word from Seanza that the 4v4 QuickCup FINALS are TODAY. For EU types, that’s 8:30pm GMT tonight and for North American types, that’s 4:30pm EST this afternoon.
Finally, it is here! German team #a.ToOn take on the Spaniards 3lack Point for the champion spot for Quick Cup #2. This time there is something tangible to play for: a 16 slot gameserver pre-paid for 3 months and, of course, a beautiful [1st] golden cup next to their name.
The match has already been added to the GamesTV.org coverage list so get your bets in! GreasedScotsman and Seanza will both be hosting TV servers for the event with a special thanks to Kartan’s kind offer of his ETQW TV server, plugging the #etqw.comeback campaign!
I’m also working on putting together a shoutcast and/or VOD of the event, but this is not confirmed just yet.
Black Lips In India
VBS.tv has posted their full documentary chronicling the Black Lips recent tour of India. We previously ran a preview of footage from the controversial trip. VBS commented:
Having previously charted a course through the more exotic hinterlands of the American South, Northern Mexico, and the Middle East, Atlanta’s Black Lips trained their sights east to India a few months ago and chaos ensued. Join us as the band attempts to bring flower punk to the subcontinent and pays dearly for doing so.
The Black Lips recent expedition to India was marked by a series of fairly seismic culture shocks. Everything from bottle-throwing fans at a gig in Pune, to livid show promoters in Chennai who chased them out of the country, all in response to a bunch of full-frontal punk rock provocateurs from Atlanta.
You can check out the documentary below or head over to VBS.tv. The band is supporting their new record 200 Million Thousand.

Hoods join I Scream Records
Hoods have signed to I Scream Records. The band previously released material on Eulogy and Victory Records and had this to say about the new deal:
Fourteen years and we’re still here. Still playing Hardcore, still having fun and bringing the mosh. I had no idea when I started Hoods if we would even last a year. With so many ups and many more downs we definitely made our mark. Not only for West Coast Hardcore but all over the world. I live, eat and breathe this music.
The band released Ghetto Blaster in 2007.
