Syracuse, NY hardcore act Another Breath have announced via their official Myspace blog that they will soon be going into the studio to record their upcoming full-length release, The God Complex. The blog also states that the band does not plan to release it via their previous label, Rivalry Records:
Come hell of high water we are recording “God Complex” this winter so we can hit the road again this spring and summer. This is by far the most potent and indepth stuff we’ve done so far and all of the demo recordings we’ve finished make the hair on our arms stand on end. More catchy, more rocking, and heavier than anything we’ve done yet. We’re going to be splitting up the recording, drums at MoreSound here in Syracuse, then doing guitars and bass with Kurt at GodCity. The mix between the two should be the best sounding recording yet!
Here’s the catch, Rivalry is slowing down and can’t really help us out anymore so we’re in the market for a new label. e’re looking for a new home, so we want someone who is as serious about what they do as we are about what we do.
The band released Mill City in 2006 to considerable acclaim.
