Brian Fallon (The Gaslight Anthem) addresses solo record rumors

In a post on his MySpace blog, The Gaslight Anthem frontman Brian Fallon dismissed rumors of a planned solo record, as reported by the New York Times:

Hey there’s an article in the NY Times about me doing a solo record. That’s nice of them to write about me, but there isn’t any solo record planed. I’m neck deep in writing another Gaslight Record for Side One Dummy and I’m far too busy to do anything else. Thanks everybody.

Fallon did recently release a split 7″ with Chuck Ragan entitled Gospel Hymns, and The Gaslight Anthem will continue to support 2008’s The ’59 Sound this fall with a tour alongside Murder By Death, The Loved Ones, Frank Turner and others.
