Interpol returns to Matador for new album

Interpol After a stint with Capitol Records, Interpol will issue their next album through Matador Records, the band’s home for their first two full-lengths, 2002’s Turn on the Bright Lights and 2004’s Antics. The self-titled effort is slated for a September 14, 2010 release, following up 2007’s Our Love to Admire.

The band will be supporting U2 this summer and playing headlining gigs on that tour’s off days.

Alpha & Omega detail ‘Life Swallower’

Los Angeles hardcore outfit Alpha & Omega have detailed their upcoming new album on 6131 Records. The record is titled Life Swallower and is due out July 13, 2010 via 6131. The album, was recorded, mixed and mastered by Paul Minor (Death by Stereo, New Found Glory, Thrice, H2O) at his Buzzbomb Studios in Orange, CA and features pre-production contributions from Andrew Kline of Strife, Nick Jett of Terror and Chad Gilbert of New Found Glory. The band launched a video trailer for “Life Swallower” last week, which can be viewed, here.

Mockingbird Wish Me Luck: ‘Goodbye Debris’

Mockingbird Wish Me LuckOur stream today comes from Kitchener, Ontario’s Mockingbird Wish Me Luck. We’ve got a stream of the band’s new EP Goodbye Debris, due out on Dine Alone Records on June 22. The band is also slated to appear at the S.C.E.N.E. festival in St. Catharines, Ontario on June 27th with Arkells, Cancer Bats, Cute Is What We Aim For and many others.

Third studio update from Underoath

Underoath have posted the third video update from the studio as they record their new album with a new drummer. The band is recording with producers Matt Goldman (Lost In The Sound Of Separation and Define The Great Line) and Jeremy SH Griffith. The band also recently announced that Daniel Davison (ex-Norma Jean) will be handling the drumming duties on both the new record as well as the upcoming COOL TOUR with As I Lay Dying, Blessthefall, Between The Buried And Me, The Acacia Strain, Architects, Cancer Bats, and War Of Ages.

The album will be the first since Lost in the Sound of Separation. The band will be on the road this summer with As I Lay Dying, Between The Buried And Me, Blessthefall, The Acacia Strain, Architects, Cancer Bats and War Of Ages. Check out the video on their Facebook Profile.

Four Year Strong: “Bad News Bearz”

Four Year Strong have posted another one of the unreleased tracks from the “deluxe” version of their 2010 album, Enemy of the World. As we reported earlier, the reissue is due out June 25, 2010 (June 22 on iTunes) and will feature a new studio track, “Bad News Bearz” and acoustic versions of four songs: “Tonight We Feel Alive (On A Saturday),” “One Step At A Time,” “Find My Way Back” and “Wasting Time (Eternal Summer)”

The Copyrights mixing new album

The Copyrights The Copyrights have posted an update on their next album. The band updated their Facebook Profile:

Our new album has been finished for some time now, and it is now in the mixing stage.We’re taking our time on this one…so you’ll have to keep waiting a little bit longer. We will also be announcing dates for our upcoming September tour which will take us through the midwest,canada, and the east coast.The dates will be posted here as soon as we get them.

The band is confirmed for Insubordination Fest. They previously released Learn the Hard Way in 2008.
