Red Storm Entertainment Announces Ghost Recon: Island Thunder
Fans of the FPS Ghost Recon will be happy to know there will be a threepeat in the GR lineup. The next release, titled Ghost Recon: Island Thunder will put you in Cuba around 2010. Fidel Castro has been dead for 4 years and thugs have seized power. Democratic elections will take place soon and it is up to the Ghosts to make sure the elections go off without any interference.

Until now, Closed Beta for AC2 has been open to AC1 players only. On September 6th, that will change as 1000 players will be choosen to participate in the Open Beta for AC2. Battlefield 1942 Multiplayer Demo Is A Hit!
If you saw the early post on Battlefield 1942, you are aware of the release of the multiplayer demo. In this demo, you can play either the Japanese or Americans at the battle of Wake Island. G.Racer and I downloaded it Friday night and had it installed around Midnight. The first test of any great game, is how long do you play the first time you load it. When we finally looked up, it was after 6am Saturday morning. We always play games on Friday night (much to the angst of our wives), but we usually wrap up sometime between 1am and 3am. Not this time. We would have kept playing, but G.Racer had to get a few hours sleep before work on Saturday, so we called it a night. Ozzfest Looses Another Main Stage Act
It has been a hard year for Ozzfest. First Sharon Osbourne, wife of Ozzy Osbourne develops cancer and he has to leave the tour for a while. Now, the lead singer for Drowning Pool, Dave Williams was found dead on their tour bus. He was 30 years young. The cause of death is listed as unknown at this time.
