Sargent House signs Fang Island

Brooklyn, NY based quintet Fang Island have signed to Sargent House. The band’s sound is described as “three part guitar harmonies, pounding bass lines, tight-as-hell drumming, and joyous choral vocals, creating epic and triumphant gatherings of sound.”

The band is currently mastering their self-titled debut and will be announcing the release date shortly. Two tracks, “The Absolute Place” (both the original, as well as the track remixed by Yeasayer’s Chris Keating) can be heard over at Stereogum.

They also have a week of tour dates coming up with Maps & Atlases and So Many Dynamos.
